Janoshik Analytical
The single largest contributor to the index and the de facto reference against which the other five labs are calibrated here. 3,159 reports in the index — 47.0 % of the total.

Janoshik contributes just under half of all reports in the index and is the reference laboratory for the index's inter-lab bias estimates. That choice is pragmatic rather than a quality judgement: with the largest number of paired comparisons available, using Janoshik as the zero point produces the tightest confidence intervals on the other five labs' offsets. It does not mean Janoshik is correct in an absolute sense, and the index says so wherever a bias figure appears.
Methodologically, Janoshik runs a 30-minute reverse-phase gradient that is close enough to the index reference method RG-2 that no gradient-length correction is applied to its results. Identity is confirmed by high-resolution ESI-TOF, which means the 1 Da bremelanotide/melanotan II distinction and the 14 Da hexarelin/GHRP-6 distinction are both within its capability — a claim only three of the six labs here can make.
Two limitations recur in the index's Janoshik record set. Endotoxin and sterility are offered but ordered on a minority of submissions, so those columns are sparse. And where a submitter orders purity alone, the resulting record cannot support an identity claim, which is why 18 % of Janoshik-sourced records in the index carry the status "purity only — identity not established".
Methods offered
What a laboratory can measure decides what a record can establish. A submission that orders only purity produces a record that names nothing.
- RP-HPLC purity (%area, 214 nm)
- LC-MS identity (ESI-TOF, high resolution)
- peptide content by HPLC against a certified standard
- Karl Fischer water (coulometric)
- counter-ion by ion chromatography
- endotoxin by kinetic chromogenic LAL
- sterility by membrane filtration, USP <71>

Agreement with the other laboratories
Each row is a paired analysis: batches where this laboratory and another one both assayed the same physical lot. A difference on a matched pair is bias plus noise, and it is the only clean way to compare laboratories.

Provenance of what this laboratory receives
A laboratory that mostly receives supplier-supplied samples produces a record set with a known upward pressure on it, however good its analysis is. This is a property of the submission channel and not of the laboratory.
| Provenance | Reports | Share | Evidentiary weight | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Buyer-sourced | 230 | 7.3% | Strongest available evidence in this index. | |
| Supplier-supplied | 2727 | 86.3% | Weaker evidence. Read with the caveat below. | |
